FAQs

  • What is Neurospicy Support Network?

Neurospicy Support Network is a disability and mental health support service based in Port Macquarie. We provide personalised, one-on-one assistance to NDIS participants of all ages, focusing on community engagement, daily living support, and emotional wellbeing.

  • What areas do you service?

We’re based in Port Macquarie and support surrounding areas including Wauchope, Laurieton, and nearby towns. If you’re unsure whether we cover your location, just get in touch — we’re flexible and happy to chat.

  • Are you an NDIS registered provider?

We are an unregistered NDIS provider, which means we can support self-managed and plan-managed participants. If you're unsure how this works, we’re happy to walk you through it.

  • Who will be supporting me?

You’ll be supported by Bridget — the founder of Neurospicy Support Network — or a small team of trusted, experienced support workers who genuinely care. We take the time to match you with someone who understands your needs and makes you feel comfortable.

  • What kind of participants do you support?

We work with people who have a range of disabilities and mental health conditions — including autism, ADHD, anxiety, depression, psychosocial disabilities, epilepsy, and more. We’re neurodivergent-friendly and trauma-informed, always offering a flexible, respectful approach.

  • Can I change my support schedule or cancel if I need to?

Absolutely. Life happens. We just ask for 24 hours’ notice for cancellations wherever possible. We're flexible and will always try to accommodate changes.

  • What types of support do you offer?

    Our main services include:

Personal daily care (showering, dressing, hygiene)
    Community and social participation
    Transport to appointments or events
    Help with household tasks
    Meal prep and nutrition support
    Medication reminders
    Building life skills and confidence

We tailor each service to suit your specific goals, needs, and pace.

  • Can I meet you before locking anything in?

Yes — we actually recommend it. We’re happy to meet for a coffee, a phone call, or a video chat so you can see if we’re the right fit for you. No pressure, no awkward sales pitch.

  • Why is it called "Neurospicy" Support Network?

"Neurospicy" is a playful way of embracing neurodiversity — celebrating brains that work a little differently. It reflects our approach: warm, non-clinical, and proudly different from your average support service.

  • How do I get started?

You can call, email, or fill out the contact form on our website. We’ll arrange a free consultation to get to know you, learn about your NDIS plan, and start building the right support plan together.
