Hi, I’m Bridget

Hi, I’m Bridget — founder of Neurospicy Support Network, a disability & mental health support service provider based in Port Macquarie.

I have been working within the health field for almost 10 years and have a background in Nursing, Aged Care, Pharmacy, and Support Work. Working with clients with disability and mental health conditions has given me valuable experience supporting people of all ages - children, young people, adults, and people with physical, emotional, and developmental needs.

Having worked across a variety of settings, I’ve developed strong communication skills, quick problem-solving abilities, patience, adaptability, and empathy — all of which help me provide meaningful, person-centred care tailored to each clients goals and preferences. I focus on empowerment, social connection, and supporting clients to build confidence and resilience so they can lead fulfilling, independent lives and chase their goals.

What drew me to disability support work was the chance to connect on a more personal level—supporting people not just with their needs, but with their goals, routines, and daily wins. I love building genuine relationships and offering support that’s flexible, down-to-earth, and built around what matters most to you.

Support that’s real, reliable, and rooted in care.

After gaining expierience working as a support worker under different companys, I decided to create my own business to offer reliable, consistent, and flexible support for those living with disability. My approach is grounded in empathy, respect, and genuine connection. I believe that everyone deserves to feel safe, heard, and supported in their own unique way — and that’s exactly what I aim to bring into every interaction.

Im passionate about building real connections and helping people feel comfortable in their own space, on their own terms. I bring patience, honesty, and a good sense of humour into every job — because I think support should feel natural, not clinical or awkward. I'm a kind and empathetic person, and I always do my best to make the room a happy, comfortable, supportive space. I'm reliable and have heaps of patience, and do my best to bring support, laughter, fun and creativity into each day when working with you. Whether it's helping someone with daily personal care, getting out and about in the community, or supporting skill-building at home, I work with each person based on their goals, their routine, and their pace. No judgement, no pressure — just flexible, down-to-earth support.

Outside of work, I love music, beach walks, food, movies, baking, hanging out with my dog, spending time with friends and family, getting creative with crafts, drawing, and DIY projects.
